The symbol of Shree Satya Sai Vidyalaya and Premalaya represents Sarva Dharma (all religions). Sarva means entire or whole and Dharma means Virtue, Duty and the Right Code of Conduct.
The symbol comprises a tall pillar with a lotus flower on it. This pillar with its concentric rings represents Yoga or Union with God. The rings indicate the stages of yogic discipline required for unfolding the “Lotus of the Heart”, whose petals are at the top of the pillar. The lotus is symbolic of our need to live our lives with purity without being touched by the evil in the world.
Around the pillar, in the rings are symbols of five of the world’s major religions.
