Training for Leadership Activities

The school is divided into four Houses which are named after the four great Emperors of the Ancient and Medieval Ages who took India to great heights. The Houses are Ashoka, Chandragupta, Vikramaditya and Akbar and are represented by the following colours: Ashoka – Green, Chandragupta – Red, Vikramaditya – Yellow and Akbar – Blue.

The faculty is divided amongst the four Houses. The senior most teacher in each House takes on the mantle of the House Warden. The Warden and other teachers are responsible for all co-curricular and community service activities carried out by their respective students and staff (House).

On admission, each student is allotted a House. This allotment is for the child’s entire tenure in school. The Head Boy, Head Girl, House Captains, Vice Captains and other Office Bearers are elected from Std. XI by the student population ( Stds. I to XI ).

All co-curricular competitions – Intra Division, Inter Division and Inter Class are held on “House” basis to encourage house loyalties and team work.
