Community service and social welfare has always been a core underlying value of the Sai philosophy. As such, the Vidyalaya strives to mould its students into caring members of the community who demonstrate a personal commitment to service and act to make a positive difference in the lives of others and to the environment.
The Vidyalaya values service with others as an important way to engage in principled action across a range of overlapping local and wider communities by building connections between what students learn in the classroom and what they experience outside in the world. In this way, students are nurtured and trained for leadership and other attributes that are essential for success.
